    BAAINBw Signs Further Contract for the Upgrade of the Rocket Launcher MARS to MARS II

    On 5 December 2018 representatives of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) and the company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG (KMW)signed the contract for the upgrade of 18 further MARS rocket launchers to MARS II.

    Acceptance of the Final Tiger Helicopter by BAAINBw

    On 25 July 2018, several hundred guests from industry, politics and the Bundeswehr came together at Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth to celebrate the acceptance of the final of 68 Tiger support helicopters (SH) for the Bundeswehr by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw).

    BAAINBw Signs Contract on Heron TP

    On 13 June 2018, representatives of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) and Airbus Defence & Space Airborne Solutions signed a contract on the use of the Israeli Heron TP reconnaissance UAV.

    General Publication A-1500/3, "Customer Product Management" (CPM), was put into force by State Secretary Gerd Hoofe on 4 June 2018. In a one-year revision and coordination process, new procedures had been added and the publication had been tailored to existing conditions.
